Fort-Bot's World Famous Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ahh... autumn. What a wonderful time of year to observe the beautiful changes that nature goes through and to celebrate family, friendship, and forts (the 3 F's). One of the best fall activities is building a fort and watching a movie from inside of it while sipping on delicious hot chocolate. Guess what dear readers. Fort-Bot is going to share his world famous hot chocolate recipe with you. So build a fort and gather the ingredients. This is going to be GOOD!

Makes 4 Servings

3 cups of whole milk
1 cup of water
3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
3 "fun-sized" Butterfinger candy bars finely chopped
2 tablespoons of sugar
Whipped cream (for serving)

Start by boiling the cup of water in a medium saucepan. Turn off the heat and then, with a whisk, incorporate the 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Make sure you whisk well so there aren't any lumps. Add in the 3 cups of whole milk and bring to a simmer. Add in the chopped up Butterfinger and the 2 tablespoons of sugar. Keep whisking as it cooks. Try to whisk out the lumps but the Butterfinger parts might stay intact. That's okay, those are just little surprises in your hot chocolate!

Fill up 4 cups with the hot chocolate and top with some whipped cream. Yum!
